Kodama is a dynamic work desk comprised of 14 pieces of 18mm plywood. There is no hardware and no tools needed for assembly. It's designed in the computer and cut with a CNC machine to fit perfectly together without any additional needs. This process allows extreme precision in fit and finish but also great flexibility in fabrication due to the simplified manufacturing process, meaning smaller shipping distances, less logistical support, and less consumption in terms of transportation (finding more sustainable ways of manufacturing). Furthermore, by making things simpler and more localized, it's much faster and easier to find multiple manufacturers who can produce Kodama around the world.

KODAMA desk was nominated by the General Department of Foreign Trade of Buenos Aires, UNESCO - Creative Cities Network, to represent the city in the SZ DAY Shenzhen Design Award for young talents. Shenzhen. China. 2015
